Guild Wars, questions...

Hey all,

Just thought id share my weekends GW action with you. So I finally finished all 25 missions in prophecies. And 20 bonuses. So I want to maybe go back and complete the last 5 bonuses. Now its onto the titan quests.

I started a Mo/Me char yesterday and am really looking forward to it. Completely different to the nuker ive been playing so far. Im planning my build around the following skills:
-Healing Prayers
-Divine Favor
-Protection Prayers
-Inspiration Magic

What do you think? Any tips for a Mo/Me since ive never had one before.

Hiya R :) Good to hear you finally made it ;)

Most monks are healing monks, and then the rest are bonders.
Healers put heavy points in DF and HP.
Bonders put heavy points in DF and PP.
If you have any spare, put that in your second prof.

Then there are builds which is known as Boon Prot. They have heavy DF, and mostly an even distribution between PP and HP. They make use of Divine Boon generally and some use the Blessed Signet for getting energy back, if you are maintaining enchantments.

Think that's the basics. It's important to try and play and get the build you are comfortable with. :)
 
ABSA isp sucks for Guild Wars!

After 2 months of Guild Wars connecting problems with my ASBA ISDN 64k account and thinking my firewall software was the problem, I finally realised (due to these posts) that the problem could be ABSA isp. I then used a friends telkom ISDN account, and hey presto, GW worked like a charm.

I then gave notice (via the website on 10 July) to cancel my ISDN account with ABSA.

I emailed [email protected] to inform them of my GW problems, but received no response (mailed them on 14 July and 13 days still no reply). I also emailed [email protected] to complain about slow support response times (it took them 8 days to reply to a simple question w.r.t. billing and cancellation notice). No reply to this email either...

Bottom line, if you want pathetic service and like to watch the GW connecting screen then by all means, join ABSA ISP (Today, Tomorrow, Never?) :mad:
 
wow, 3 days and no posts in the GW thread, you guys are slacking.

I liked the Devish, thought it was pretty cool, didn't play PvP Nightfall much but i'd very much like too see some screenies of the Nightfall world.
 
Ye, wasn't bad. They took a bit of time to get the store up and running before I could run around for a bit with D/W build. Not bad at all :D
Am already looking forward to the new chapter.
It's gonna be :cool:
 
Yes, I definitely preferred the Dervish to the Paragon. Anyone know when Nightfall is being released ?
 
Kinda liked the Paragon as secondary for my ranger. Works well as a combo:p

Okay so im up and running with Guild Wars. Four of us are playing, but it only allows 2 people per party. How do I get more people into my party when i start the game?
