Guild Wars, questions...

I would say it is pretty hard to recruit players. You can obviously invite random people in the game looking for a guild, but that is not really a guild. I would say you should consider if you really want to have your own guild, except if you have a lot of friends playing. I know you have paid for a guild, but it is only virtual gold.

I think it is often easier to join an established guild and learn from and join in with guys who have played the game a while. A good active guild usually has lots of stuff going on at the same time, so you can try out all kinds of things you would never get to experience on your own or in a small guild.

Jst a question.. I was wondering wot SA alliances are out there as we have a guild of very active members and we are looking for sum alliances.
 
Wargeeks is busy growing our alliance. We have four alliance members now, with a fifth one busy voting internally if they want to join. They might be on board in the next day or two. We are a Kurzick alliance. Please let me know if you are interested.

I've been thinking about kurzick alliance but are there any advantages about that one has over the other. I just like what the manual says about the kurzicks but i doubt that's the ways i should approach it. Any ideas

We have 1 alliance with us. Have to discuss with them if its ok to change to kurzick. Then we would gladly join wargeeks alliance.

Sadly, we have seen better days in our guild.
It doesn't bother me much cause I do what I want, when I want and don't like being told what to do or to have any specific rules.
Don't get me wrong, I am a helpful guy, as most can tell from this forum, so it's not like I am not fun, friendly, helpful to have around :D

That's why I am hesitant to go to another guild, cause we are very easy and relaxed in our guild. Just playing the game and having fun. No stress. :D

no pressure on our guild members.. We jst have fun and all of us are online everynyt... Been doing sum AB and its fun .. we have scrimmages all the tym for practice.. but no1 really ventured into PVP.. except for me ... but we always helpful aswell.....
 
As lilDeath says, it takes a couple of seconds to change your alliance.

@hybrid, if ming is an ele, then the code word is mesmer. :D

Who the guild is allied with has little effect on anything, expect if one is part of one of the huge alliances that wants to control a town. One can still happily do the missions and quests on both sides and buy stuff on both sides as long as you have more personal faction for the side you are buying with. They stuff they say if the manual is mostly filler info in my opinion, and has little actual effect in the game. The only thing is that everybody in a guild alliance has to be with the same faction, otherwise GW does not allow the alliance invites.

Note, before I can invite you into the alliance, I need more info about your guild to be able to check with the other alliance members to get their OK.
 
Like I said ... I would have to discuss it with our alliance member if we all gona switch to kurzick...
I doubt it should be a problem..

as for my build I used againts Hybrid.. it was pure ele... killed him in lyk 5 sec lol...
Im sure he will figure out a counter eventually..

Just some general stuff. Name, size, website if any etc. We have a 5 member guild in the alliance, so size does not affect anything. It just helps to give a general feel for what size the overall alliance is.
 
We have 6 active members in our guild.. 5 SA players and the other 1 is from thailand.. a female.. she's our baby doll ^^(very experiencd)..
as for our alliance member.. they hav 4 members and are also SA.
Sum of our guild members still learning alot... but they catch on very quickly.. and all of us have been doing AB ..... pretty friendly and funny bunch to be with..

oh yes our alliance member is in discussion about setting up a website aswell.

Anyone want to help with Abaddon's Mouth (mission after Ring of Fire) any time? I've been stuck there for I don't know how long and everytime I reach the end...everybody quits. It's also an incredibly long and tough mission.

Have started getting back into GW after a few months of vacation from it :rolleyes:

Haven't even got Factions yet, still just having fun doing quests & farming Sorrows in Prophecies.
Only problem is timezone. I'm 6 hours ahead of you folks in SA...so play wise I can only really play with SA peeps up until 18h00 SA time during the week.
 
Morning all. My social life is going to the dogs. Guild wars is killing me. I know it's bad because the girl chars in guild wars have started to become attractive. Mings character is especially mighty fine...... watch out ming i might just make advances.lol. Ming i need you and your vrag to help me on the oracle mission in dragons throat. U up for it?
