Hey all
So, I am looking for something on Gumtree (PC stuff...)
But there are these clowns who just post like 30 adds at a time.
And they were all loaded 3 minutes ago according to the thingy.
Then this one add just repeats for like 3 pages. :mad:
How the hell do they do that?
I know Bid or Buy has a bulkload function which I also use.
But how do these clowns on Gumtree do it?
Please educate me :D

Noeyedeer, however it's poor form that gumtree don't ban these type of idiots, it's extremely annoying trying to find something while having to navigate the minefield it is currently.
 
Some serious cut and paste skills?

Nothing stops you from opening 30 "new adverts", filling out details for each and then pressing submit one after the other.
(nb. speculation - have not tried it!)

Agree totally, reported an annoying repeat ad offender (some overpriced excuse for supposed adequate pensioners accomodation) whilst I was searching for rental accomodation..nothing.

I guess if the ads are paid for you have even less chance...Gumtree bread and butter.
 
Another thing are the people who have tags in their ads, which have nothing to do with the ad.
Car dealerships, and scrap yards do this. Yet none of their ads have the car in question. They'll have multiple ads all showing up on your search with not a single one being relevant.

I have reported these many times, but don't think anything will be done about it.
 
If you have a business account with Gumtree you can bulk upload ads, so often car dealers, 2hnd dealers etc can bulk upload ads
