Once Windows is booted up, that won't work. You need to do that via
the Linux bootable CD.

yes all hidden files are are viewable

try this program http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php also, if you can see the hdd in mu computer, try right clicking on it and clicking explore. alot of these new trojans create autorun files on hdd's and flashdisks, so sometimes when you double click on a hdd on your computer, it just runs what the autorun.inf wants to run.
