If it weren't me that is involved, I am sure I would find it hilarious. I am addicted to gymming. HAVE to go 4 times a week, at least.

As we type here, the domestic worker is busy in my house and I cannot leave for gym until she is done with her chores. I feel like I can make a fire under her :D

At least it is a good addiction.

Well blue I must admit since I started gyming again recently

I am in the same situation minimum 3 times a week and maximum 4. Although damn I can see results already again.

*arms currently hurt like hell, bench*

I try and get to the gym as much as I can but I gotta say it's a drag for me...

Lazy buggers! I gym everyday(Bar weekends) hour and half, 2 hrs if im doing cardio.

Can we see some before and after pics, please?

Unfortunately not.

But it's a 'nice' kind of hurt, Lino :)

No, I don't want to look like a female body builder

lol, probably one of the better addictions a person can have...

...i also feel frustraded and down, if i don't go to gym 4-5x a week.

but i wont call it an addiction, as exercise addicts will skip school or work to exercise, forgo social events to exercise, exercise even when they are ill or tired, and keep detailed journals of their workouts

so unless this is you, you have nothing to worry about imo. so keep it up, and look great this summer :D

It's the endorphins which are addictive, the natural feel good hormone produced by the brain during cuddling, sex, hugging, consuming chocolate and exercise!!!
Years ago, exercise physiologists thought that you could become addicted to exercise, much like you could addicted to morphine. Vigorous exercise causes an increase in your levels of endorphins. The name endorphin comes from combining the two words endogenous (made in your body) and morphine, and these chemicals act on the same receptors as narcotics. Endorphin levels go up with most bouts of intense physical activity. Scientists used to think that endorphins accounted for a runner’s high and explained why someone could get addicted to exercise.

Most intense workouts cause an increase in endorphin levels. One of the exercise studies showed that weight lifting causes your endorphin levels to go up, similar to the increase from running on a treadmill. Our bodies make endorphins whenever we exert ourselves, and the higher levels probably help us better tolerate discomfort. Imagine that you are one of your ancient ancestors and running away from a wooly mammoth. You want to be able to keep sprinting and ignore any physical pain, at least until you are safely back in your cave. That is where endorphins come in handy; they help block out physical discomfort. Despite higher endorphin levels, most people do not feel high after or get addicted to exercise.
Is Mr Blu a wooly mammoth perhaps?

i don't really like chocolates or hugging, so that explains my extra liking for the rest :D

Agreed it is a good kind of hurt. Nice no ways:p

PS if you look like a female body builder I will throw up. Nicely gymed and toned is cool, hell even sexy. But female body builders:sick:

Why no before and after photos? It may just inspire others to also go to the gym.

The biggest joy I get from a gym, is speeding past it in my car
