Halaal restaurants

In this case I rate that col cacchios supply chain is already Halaal except for the pork and alcohol

Wait, what?

On a side note, i saw La Padrino in Emerentia. Is it the same one that was on church street back in the late 80's early 90's ?

Finally got a chance to try Andalousse Moroccan Restaurant in Woodstock.
Location, Meh, to be desired. Opposite Woodstock Police Station.
Atmosphere - Very Moroccan
Service - 9 /10 - Fast, Friendly, accurate, sincere and kind, we were a group of 18 and they accommodated us (booked 3 days in advance though)
Food - 10/10 - Presentation was great, cooked to perfection, tasty and generous portions. We ordered a huge variety and everything was delish!

Highly recommended.

Edit, posted here as it's Muslim owned (in fact owner is Moroccan) and therefore fully Halaal.

Muslim owned doesn't necessarily mean they follow the halaal standards.

True hey. It does come down to the person who runs it.

Luckily, it's owner run. A practicing Muslim, who not only welcomes you, but works in the kitchen (looked like he's the main chef), served some of the food when our waiter was seeing to another table and also cleared our table after the mains.

Quite possibly, i'll be back there for sure, especially for that Soup and Bread!!!

Review seen on FB about Durban places

slm, after spending some time on the North-Coast and having most of our meals in Durban....briefly this is our ratings out of Ten on some of the eateries... most meals were very late afternoon or early supper and in most cases we ordered what was recommended to us by previous patrons ...

1- Smoking Joe - 8/10 - great burger and steak roll - good food - dissapointed at the owners brother who was very rude to another patron in the store and kept on chewing on his pen while taking to customers...

2- Jolly Grubber - 7/10 - the tikka and pita is still as good as previous, kebab has lost its flavour.

3- Vapor Cafe - 4/10 - prawns get 7/10 and was only item that was good, chicken terrible, bunny even worse (Dont BUY IT!) - cant see what the hype is about - staff dont care - will not return

4- Comida Eatery - 9/10 - great food, fresh and tasty, great service and everyone was on the ball although they were busy

5-Sunkist - 9/10 - original and great tasty food, portion is larger than what you imagine and we even called the owner to compliment the waitress - who cared...

6-R J''s Florida - 8/10 - great grills, always the same taste and well prepared - good portion and service, -even though the owners are never seen.
