Halaal restaurants

A bit meh - its not bad, but just nothing memorable.

The Cresta one is good, JHB South (oakdene) is good but slow service. Havent tried the one at Rosebank Zone yet.

If its a good burger you crave, try Bronto's on Grant Road, Norwood :)
Brontos has closed down. Unfortunately.

My burger joint

So the Col Cacchios group has certified 2 branches that are non Muslim owned.

Clearly they see a market

Making 2 of your 35 franchises halal is a good idea and any chain should do it.

Sigh. Please keep your agenda out of this thread. It's nice, clean and informative. Stick to the other thread. Just a request

Can the gentleman who posted keep his agenda out as well?

Clearly they see a market

I said a halal market equivalent to 2/35th is perfectly justified and I’d do the same if I had restaurants.

No agenda, too bad for you.

And so it begins

It can easily grow from 2 if the restaurants prove to be popular

So peeps start eating

And what’s the issue with saying that 2/35th of the restaurants of the chain being halal is perfectly warranted and reasonable and that I’d do the same?

I was supporting your comment.

But the islamophobia and crying wolf brigade is quick it seems.

Yes they need to cater for the market and make business decisions. Sometimes it may prove more feasible to make everything Halaal due to supply chain management etc.

In this case I rate that col cacchios supply chain is already Halaal except for the pork and alcohol

Because you going to keep talking and going on and on. And this is not the thread for it. As you are doing now

You misinterpreted a comment that was not asking for any answer and made it a big story.

Without your (aggressive and) misguided post, there would have been no answer.

I’ll leave it here.

Proving his point. Always wanting to have the last word.

This is my first post in this thread but it's a thread I regularly check to see what's new. You're just trolling it now.
