Dude, that's some serious sour grapes you've got going on there. If you see a fact issue, check me by all means. Don't hate me just because I'm right. :rolleyes: ;)

The reason there are so many 360 owners on the MyADSL forum is because we're typically broadband enabled online gamers, and for that demographic the 360 is the bees knees.

BTW, further testimony to the popularity of the 360, is that all the Cape Town stores I've tried keep running out of 360 stock, while their PS3's are gathering dust. With any luck the 40Gb PS3 will at least put up a little bit of a fight.
 
I'm getting my XBox 360 exchanged for a brand new one tomorrow! Finally Halo 3 shall be mine!

courtesy of some vouchers i got from buddies for bday (shot chingatch)

i cannot wait to get it (16 november apparently )

only other game i have inticpated as much as halo

Why is it that the ps3 people always get so uptight. Normally this happens to people when they know that the opposition is better, and therefore they get mean, knowing that they have made the wrong choice when purchasing their product. PS3 guys.... Don't hate brothers, Appreciate...

Comments such as that, make me laugh most of all, pure unadulterated crap. When did you buy a ps3 that you are so aware of this issue, I on the otherhand had to deal with a million different store and eventually had to drive to the otherside of CT to find ps3 cos no one had stock!

I believe their lack of appreciation stems from the unwillingness to believe that they are now number 2 after so many years. Lol. When I bought my Xbox in 2002 I was eagerly anticipating this day! :D

ROFL. Dude don't fib. :rolleyes: You didn't have to drive anywhere, you won your PS3! "loyalty on a platter" 101 . . .

I don't have to go digging to see the PS3 isn't doing well. There are piles of the things sitting behind counters and tills wherever I go , whether it be Musica, Game or L&L.
 
Im sure i heard you won your ps3 too abev, Come now, Don't wanna get caught with your pants on fire. It is rather unfortunate that the prize was a ps3 and not an xbox. Pity that the fate of your gaming experience lay in the hands of some lucky draw... You could always sell it and move away from the dark side. I double dare you...

Yes I won my ps3, and as many of you are aware I had to wait six weeks to recieve my prize, the reason for this was that the company running the comp, i.e. Entertainment Africa could not get hold of a ps3 to send me as the whole of gauteng was out of stock, eventually they were able to find me one in CT after two weeks of searching in that region.
Eafrica then deposited the cash (R6500) into my bank account and I had to drive across town to pick it up. Please also note that I was told I could spend this cash on what ever I wanted owing to the fact that I had to wait so long.

I chose to get a ps3 as IMO it is the best available console.

I love my ps3 and enjoy playing on it every night, no regrets only happiness.

oh and ps, those boxes you see behind tills, they are for display purposes!

I finally got Halo3 done on heroic after sumthing like 11hrs played... my aiming still sucks :sick:

There shoulda been more hunters tbh

Speaking of Warhawk, i played a bit of that on my friends ps3, not a bad game, 32 player DM...
Being an "xbot" - halo3 multiplayer > warhawk

You're not helping your case by jumping into every Xbox related thread and proving yourself to be a rabid Sony fanboy despite the overwhelming evidence that at this current moment in time the 360 is the console to have if you're a serious gamer while the PS3's outlook for future success is still very hazy.

If the PS3 can compete with other consoles in terms of price, performance, game availability and quality then it will be in with a fighting chance. That is not the case at the moment...it's very simple.

..or perhaps it's populated by avid gamers, using logic and wanting to play decent console games right now instead of waiting to see how the whole thing pans out in a few years time :)

To be honest, I think I have only ever started one or two arguments on this forum.
I do however defend my console when people make statements that are biased and untrue that puts the ps3 in a negative light.

Doobi, I havent got warhawk yet cos I am waiting for the box set!

I thought about waiting for the Warhawk boxed set but for R550 its a rip off! I got my Bluetooth Nokia headset working with the PS3 and simply downloaded Warhawk for R240 off PSN. It will save you some bucks. ;)

About your argumens into PS3 negativity, its simply the press releases that point out Sony blunders in the PR department... nothing else to add to that. But your arguments are mostly invalid simply coz you have your OWN opinions about the PS3 which the articles tear to shreds most of the time.

Otherwise its nice to rev you up with some of our flamebait posts too! :p
