3 episodes in its getting a little slow burn, which I suppose is needed for character and plot development, but it seems worth watching so far. For a tv show, I thought the CGI was actually pretty good.

That soundtrack is in the start of the show. Slightly different, but very cool. They're allowed to adapt a bit...

:ROFL: I’m just saying. There’s a reason many of these characters you play in video games doesn’t have detailed character profiles because the player embodies them. The moment you make a story about the playable protagonist you take the risk of getting the hardcore fans burning your house down.

No, the series isn't game accurate. But it does hold true to a lot. Like Reach, the Halo rings being weapons, The Covenant, and Silver Team (along with the creator of the Spartans and Cortana).
