Hi All

So I have a VOX FTTH 100/50. I am using the provided hAP AC Lite provided router and I am experiencing the following issue:

I have 2 devices connected via cable and works fine.
I have a switch connected via cable and additional 3 devices connected via cable.
Users on the switch are experiencing 1/4 to 2/4 of the full ethernet speed.
The speed to the WAN over Wifi is fine. But from ethernet its rubbish.

Anyhow it seems to be a known issue see links below:
http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=105764
https://www.tapatalk.com/topic/105764-28615

And there does not seem to be a fix ATM.

Questions:
1) Is anyone else experiencing this? If so do you know how to fix it ?
2) I am thinking of moving to a EdgeRouter Lite. Good or bad idea ?
3) I am looking for a decently priced Wireless AC Router that can support Wifi speeds of 100Mbs or more?

Looking forward to all your responses.

Regards,
Moosa

The problems with the Hap AC (different product) were not experienced on the Hap AC lite.

Just a reminder that the router only has 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports. Considering the devices connected via cable are working fine and that the devices connected by the switch are the issue - shows there is either an auto-negotiation issue or an issue with the switch.

Do you have access to the mikrotik? Logs? ROS version etc?

Yeah update ROS or just replace your router?

I have tested 2 different switches and 1 other router acting as a switch. Same issue.

Have access.
Nothing meaningful in the logs
ROS 6.3.45

So what is odd is that if I do a speedtest it registers 100/50 Mbs...
But when I do a direct download from say MSDN I am only getting 30-70 Mbs over ethernet.. ?
