Hard drive windows tranfer

Good day..

Just want to know, I currently have a hard drive 500GB, and it's split into 2.. 250GB and 250GB..

One is for windows and the other for storage.. and now I don't have enough space on my windows Hard drive... I want to get a 1TB.. but the thing is I don't know how to "fuse" the 2 hard drives together again... WITHOUT formatting...

If there is anyway, pleases help..

Have a look at this software from Paragon. I'm not sure if it can do exactly what you want, but it does allow you to change partition sizes quite easily. Their software is good, if somewhat large, and is highly regarded by the frequenters of the Giveaway of the Day website.

There are free versions of many of their programs, but you can also try out the full versions for a limited time.
 
Just about any partition software will do want you asked. The software in the link that was given should work. You must look for a command that will say "merge" or something to that effect.

I just want to ask, will it affect anything on my computer? Like you know, um.. windows programs and stuff like that? because I have some feeling that it does... But I dont' know.. So just asking..

Also, is it possible to have files on the Non-window partitioned hard drive when marging? or must I clear that one first?
 
I would suggest that you get your 1TB first, install it, then copy the "storage" date from your 250GB to the 1TB.
Then merge the two partitions to make a 500GB Windows drive.

Just one question, why is your Windows HDD of 250GB full? Games?

Yeah, I'm just waiting for the money which i'll be getting in a week, and then WAM! 1TB hard drive is coming!

well yeah, both of the 250GB is full.. because of installed games and movies and videos... And most of them are more than 4.75GB, so can't burn, and Dual layer DVD is a waste of money at this point.
