Ok so here is an update on this voucher thingy....prior to when this Voucher thingy came up I purchased alot of stuff on their sale. Last week sometime, Takealot sends out a survey with the question: would I refer Takelot to everyone or something like this. It was a rating scale...I marked 0 no recommendation and in the content block I stated that a return is sitting at reception desk since the 6 August the date it was supposed to be collected and second reason....I received no voucher after my latest purchase (airtime). Guess what, today I received a call from the courier company asking where they should collect the return. This I found astounding because my details are all onnthe system and it seemed as if Takealot sent half the info through to the fourier company or so they say. What was also amazing is that my illusive R200 Voucher was also received in my email in box...same day.
Coincidence, me thinks not...it appears as if Takelot takes feedback seriously and reacts almost immediately. The question would be Why react though...why wait for negative feedback (at first I ignored this survey for a few days) and then provide the service due? This voucher...like all members validated....should have been received 24 hours after the purchase was made. I must say this experience left me with mixed feelings though.
