needs an HDMI port, I dont need anything very fancyDepends whether you're buying new or old.
Check carbonite or cash cash crusaders. I saw some really good deals on monitors pop up.needs an HDMI port, I dont need anything very fancy
Depends. I play FPS games, 24" is perfect, I find 27" to be too big for me, somehow the extra screen space leaves a lot I cannot focus on which I was able to focus on with a 24" monitor.I went from a 24 to 27.
Never looked back. Those 27 sized screens are amazing.
Same here... 2 x 27" is all I needI went from a 24 to 27.

I went from 24 to 27 and 32". You'll get used to the 32" it took me a day or two.I went from 27" to 31.5".... for my aging eyes it feels a bit overwhelming. I think 27" is the sweet spot.
I've had mine for about a year now, and it's still a bit overwhelming in FPS games. It's as if my eyes cant focus fast enough on the larger screen. That's it with the screen a bit more than an arm + hand length away. Its of course easier in the morning when my eyes are rested than at night.I went from 24 to 27 and 32". Oh the one everyone was snapping up last year. I was looking at it, but it was sold out very quickly. They say it's a TN Panel though?Mecer K3G3R 31.5" 1440p.

My Asus 27" was IPS, I'm using this LG which is VA and honestly there's not a lot of different, yes the Asus was better colour reproduction and it popped just a tad more.IMO:
At 32" or more, you should be on 4K.
1440p should, max, be on 27".
*puke*
Once you go IPS, you can never go back to TN
(I tried...and I just couldn't)

Also 1440p on 32" is actually fine,
and the hardware for 4k isn't easily obtainable.
A 1080ti is stil quite pricey. and also I've got no issues with 1440p on this monitor, far clearer than 1080p was on my old 27"For sure, but this isn't about VA. It's about IPS vs TN.
For me, 1440p on 32" falls into the same category as:

With reasonable settings, even a 1080ti does 4K pretty well, so I don't know![]()
Any high end gpus there is quite high demand atm.A 1080ti is stil quite pricey. and also I've got no issues with 1440p on this monitor, far clearer than 1080p was on my old 27"
Yup, I noticed :-( my 1660ti now only pushes just passed 60fps on 1440p.Any high end gpus there is quite high demand atm.
Not a single, rtx 2070 or rtx 2080 in stock at wootware. Means the 2nd hand market will carry a premium now
