Looking for a Type C hub with HDMI and power delivery for a notebook, possibly DEX usage.

Not sure if I should get something with wired ethernet as well?

I got a volkano usb c type hub from cna a few months back. I think I paid 1k for it. When cna had their electronics closing down sale it went for 350.

It has a USB 3.1, ethernet, hdmi, SD card slot and USB c in for power (not sure if it can power a laptop though).

Use it for dex on my phone.

I"ve seen loads of those on all the usual sites (Takealot, Loot etc.); but very few of them do Power Delivery at the moment. Even power banks / chargers. PD is still very new, esp in SA, it seems

I use a D6000. Multiple Monitors, keyboard, speakers, network and mouse connected to it.

I just plug in the usb c cable and it powers the laptop. One plug to rule them all. So far no issues + 6 months

I don't think they can be compared.. apples and oranges..

If you are more of an audiophile, you'd probably prefer the Edifiers over the Logitechs..

YouTube has a few head to head sound tests and discussions in the Comments section between the Edifier R1280T (very similar to R1280DB) and the Logitech Z623 which might be of interest. You probably need to listen using a good pair of headphones to get the full effect.
