I was meh until I studied the post by Lukke, it is 15% of the purchase price of eligible items shipped to South Africa, not 15% of from the shipping cost. Forum username could be Skimwrite :)
Yip. It is a good deal if you buy the right thing.

Now I need to look at something I can buy that is small, costs at least R1250 but isn't too expensive as the discount is basically R314
Anyone have ideas of something in that range?

Maybe some cheaper Airpods, a cheap tablet or something else?

I decided to buy a Redmi Note 9 Pro. Hopefully I don't regret it.

Ok I get it.

Anyone have any recommendation for a portable monitor for travel to use with laptop?

Acer used to make a range of those. I think others do too now. They're expensive for what you get tho. (like 15" for R 3000 when I last looked, which was a good couple of years ago, admittedly).

I have also been looking for one, for DEX and a mobile second screen for notebook, not much available locally - AOC and Asus were all I could find, only type C connector on them + Pricing for the Asus was a bit much.

A lot more choices available on amazon (but shipping is crazy) and BangGood. Decided to go with a BOB importer for about R500 more than the Banggood price so they can deal with everything instead of me.

Ordered the Blitzwolf bw-pcm3 on the 20th of Oct after reading good reviews and seeing videos online. Lots of connectivity options, Full HD and touch, worked out about R4k.

Hope to have it by next week as shipping is 2 - 4 weeks.

I bought a AOC a few years ago from Esquire. It was crap. 1368 by 768 resolution. Had to install drivers, the connector worse out and it kept losing connection. Now I am looking for decent one for travel without those negatives

Any Hdd deals 2TB and up? My 4TB crashed. Luckily nothing of real importance on there but the space...

I've placed two orders from this site and had issues with both.... tracking not working, laptops not delivered ... . and they never answer their phones.
Dear Mr S.Pig
I don't work for this company. I do apologize and hope it works out.
P.S. Did you see the price of some of those laptop bags... flippin cheap right!
P.P.S Try going to their store, if they are still not answering.
Sincerely
Arandompeer

The site didn't accept card payments on 5 occasions. Tried with 2 cards and also registered a new account. Eventually used the EFT method and emailed proof of payment.
Placed order yesterday 11/11, received today 12/11, with a Mi Bunny and Mi Fan Writing Pad

Looking for WiFi APs

My house has weird walls (no WiFi travels through them)...

I have Fiber coming into the house and I have wired CAT6e into most places in the house where I need to have WiFi Access Points.

I had some Ubiquity AirRouters which worked reasonably well, but they are showing their age and 3/6 have died.

I am looking for 6 value for money WiFi Access points. Any deals?

The Ubiquity 5 packs are pretty good value. If you find some on special it can be even better.

Get the 5 packs from senetic

Note the 5 pack doesn't come with PoE adapters

Thanks, been looking at those.

I am also investigating the Aruba AP22 and the Mikrotik Audience

Can anyone tell me where I can get the Aruba hardware sourced locally at an affordable rate?

Hi guys, I cant seems to find specs to see if this TV has HDMI 2, i doubt it and might not need it (no funds for next gen console) but would be nice to confirm or else ill wait for black friday.
Yes, it has 1.4 and 2.0, but not 2.0a, 2.0b or 2.1.
