This is what the government-funded (YES program) interns are given for some reason. Why are Celeron-chipped laptops still being made/sold?

Marketing.. to the layman, 500gb storage vs 240gb, irrespective of the speed difference, appears to be more 'value for money'..Celerons are workable for basic tasks. "The latest Celeron processors in NAS models are capable of transcoding even 4K content without much of a stutter"
The issue is why are laptops with mechanical only storage still being made and sold in 2020? 240gb SSDs are cheaper than 500gb mech drives, 5 times faster, use less power, makes no noise and are way more robust (ie will survive a drop).
Id much rather have an entry level Celeron with 240gb SSD than one with 500gb low power 5400rpm mechanical drive, night and day difference in work ability.

I've bought from them before. Never had an issue with card payments. The site didn't accept card payments on 5 occasions. Tried with 2 cards and also registered a new account. Eventually used the EFT method and emailed proof of payment.
I had this with Takealot for the past couple of months. It keeps on declining my credit card transaction for some reason. The card works fine in store and with other online stores, but just Takealot's site is a no-go for some reason. The site didn't accept card payments on 5 occasions. I can't recall that I do, but I will check that the next time. Thanks for the tip. It could also be something that the Pi-Hole is blocking now that I think of itDo you get to the screen to enter the OTP?
If not, disable your ad-blocker.
I had this issue on Chrome but switched to Edgeium a few weeks ago and the issue followed me - hence why I didn't think that it was anything on my side.I haven't had an issue with Pi Hole and payment but then again I'm using the default blocking lists.
On Takealot, I have to disable UBlock Origin for the payment to go through.
