I had bad luck with odd numbers 3 and 5TB.

As a matter of interest, what do you guys store on them?

I’ve got a free as system where I store all of my downloaded media, the redundancy has save me a few times the last 6 years.

I have another little server running open media vault on a raspberry pi 3, granted I don’t use redundancy as it syncs to a few folders only on the main server, and I’m looking for more storage for it hence the portable HDDs.

The HP is not Cherry MX Reds. It's outemu reds.

However in order to not to derail the thread by making it a discussion on keyboards, I will mention Evetech have some decent specials on Razer keyboards (please note that a lot of people have issues with evetech though)
Yah Cherry MX for that price sounds unlikely.
I've seen 2 Razr keyboards at a computer shop - not impressed. The keys were skew on one. And it was a R2000+ keyboard!

I've been using outemu blues for a year no issues. Little loud though

Samsung S20 FE from Amazon @ $555 with the 15% discount.
Not a bad price for a Snapdragon device.

Tempted....

The Nokia 5.3 is available for $176.99 in charcoal, and with the code ZA15 you get an extra $20 off. The shipping + import fees come to an additional $43. Total in ZAR around R3000. Seems like a good deal for a phone that costs R5000 on Takealot? Link

Thinking of getting this for myself... will it work fine in SA on Telkom Mobile and MTN?

The Redmi 9 is a better phone for about the same price.

To each their own, having used several nokia's and a sirocco.. doubt i'll look at another brand anytime soon.
After using a Nokia 8 for 3 years, I'll look at any other brand thanks. Yes it was decent looking, yes it was tough, but bad battery, bad camera and just started slowing down.

This, after having used a Sirocco for 2 years, I don't want another Nokia.

Source? I can't find a definitive answer, many sites say Cherry

What's the normal going price for 144Hz monitors these days? I don't want to get taken for a ride next week.

I'm guessing about R6500+ for 1440p, and R4500+ for 1080p IPS?

I bought one. It doesn't say cherry red switches on the box, it just says red switches. From the switch design it looks like an outemu switch.

144Hz IPS panels are both rare and expensive. Quick check at Wootware seems to indicate even a 1080p one is well north of R5k.

Not sure if these are good prices for Romoss Powerbanks from OneDayOnly.

Grabbed the 20000mah one for a friend, not bad at all. Bought a few Romoss power banks for myself in the past, have had great service from them.
