Unfortunately all of the manufacturers overstate the capacity on their power banks and this figure refers to the capacity of the 3.7V lithium cells inside and not the actual capacity at the output voltage of 5V. 4000mAh from a 5000mAh power bank would actually be very good. I think the 10000mAh Pick n Pay bank would probably only supply around 7000mAh.

EDIT: This is a message from one of the Aliexpress sellers who probably gets a lot of complaints regarding the capacity of this Xiaomi Power Bank 3 20000mAh bank. The real capacity is a lot lower than most customers would expect.
Xiaomi 20000mAh is the real capacity of the powerbank. But it is impossible this powerbank can provide all it\'s power to phone battery, taking into account losses in the system as well as the cables and connectors. As stated by Xiaomi company, this model can give around 13000mAh of output.

That 4TB is quite likely SMR.

Depends what you are going to use it for, SMR affects write performance. Using a SMR drive as a storage (archival) drive is fine.

Well no, I have a newer drive as well bought in the last year, same model, and if you check the firmware and everything else, its the same.
SMR would use different firmware.
No, it’s a grand local for them now. Check takes lot.

Agreed. And shipping is quicker and warranty is local.
Also check pclinkshop.co.za, they tend to have good prices but longer delivery times than takealot for instance.

Also not recommended to import a hard drive, the local warranty is worth the few hundred bucks. Saved me a few times.

Are these still "dumb" TV's?
I'd prefer to keep a decent panel and swap out a Mi Box or similar every few years instead of a whole new TV.... Especially if there is nothing wrong with the panel

Is that price for prime members only? I did for instance sign up for their trial membership a while back but cancelled as it wasn't worth it in my case.This is good though. R1800 to your door.
I was lucky to get the sandisk 1TB SSD deal they had for R1500 at Makro towards the end of June though.

I bought a blue Xbox controller for $38 on Sunday, then they were all gone, I thought maybe they monitor my browsing and tempt me those b a stards....
That said, something like a ssd is really easy to return for R100 if something goes wrong, and Amazon just refunds you. I use postnet to return items for cheap without tracking, and I’ve never lost a package.
