There is a thread about miphones and lots of people complaining about them in general.
I have ordered multiple time from connecteddevices without any hassle though

Great thing about them they have 2 voucher codes you can use on any purchase - saveme150 and return200, for R150 and R200 off. If I remember correctly you can use the 'saveme150' only once per account.
 
Does anyone know if Aiwa is any good and do they have after sales service with checkers

Thats cheap crap, not even an HD panel.
Go for something larger - 40" here is roughly the minimum size with an HD panel - 1920 x 1080

To be honest brand doesn't matter too much - the panels are made by a handful of manufacturers for any TV or Monitor. TV is basically a case + psu + controller board + panel. 1366x768 will be a low spec crap panel at 32". Actually hard to find those now, as no-one really makes crap like that anymore. Probably a 3rd tier panel maker if that.

Just avoid.

Actually that unit is HD.
HD = 1280 x 720p
FHD = 1920 x 1080p

Not in my book it isn't. Regardless, 720 isn't HD, and those panels suck.

Industry standard calls 1920x1080 HD.
You buy or stream HD content its 1920x1080.

Most tv's sold these days (excepting the old stock dumped here) are 4k (3840 x 2160).
8k sets are starting to become more prevalent - thats the new standard. (7,680 x 4,320)

I would not recommend buying a 1368x768 panel, especially in a 32".
In a 15" its too low a resolution, on a 32" its a travesty.

Not talking about 'your book' - 720p is HD.
I have had other cheaper 32" tvs like sinotec and hisense which was also only 720p and image quality was quite acceptable.

You also said earlier "to be honest brand doesn't matter too much" :unsure:

This is the sales, thread, and you're derailing it a bit.
Brand doesn't matter. Panel does, which is what I wrote.

I'm not up for an argument, this will be my last reply in here, as its out of scope for the topic.

I was just stating that 720p = HD, not trying to derail the thread, you were the one saying something about 'your book' and went afterwards and edited post 6508 :unsure:

I see the echo show on its own is unavailable now but bundled with the blink mini its $49.99 - also no prime membership needed for this price.
Still not shipping to SA though so will have to use a freight forwarder like AGS.

EDIT: If anybody purchases one of these can you confirm whether this model now offers quick charging and type C ports (10000mAh Power Bank with 18W Fast Charging TypeC (Input & Output)). The units that I bought previously do not support quick charging or type C ports.

Seems to be some false advertising from Pick 'n Pay's side. I ordered one and it's still an old spec power bank - with no fast charging nor any USB-C port as advertised. Just going to keep it as not worth the effort of going to the store to get R99 back.

Thanks for the feedback. It's still a really good price for a 10000mAh power bank. I bought several of the micro USB 2A charging type during their anniversary sale for gifts and loadshedding purposes. I am still quite happy with them considering the price and the convenient size.

Do they have a version with Fast charging?
Because I haven't found one with fast charging under R400 as yet
