I've done one for my electric pedestrian gate as well. So when the powers out our gate can still be opened without the key using just our remotes. This backup powers the receiver and cisa lock.

For those who say the 7ah is too small, get the 18ah battery and you're sorted. I've done a little modification to a complex for their sliding gates which had to be left open during load shedding because they dont last for too many open close cycles. They now leave one of the gates closed and the 2nd can be run throughout loadshedding without killing the battery. Place stays secure.

1. We can then stop derailing this hardware bargain thread
2. Im looking around for a battery solution for my Pi and LED lights

I've had Samsung and Dell monitors and never had issues with any of them, and I say buy whatever meets your needs. One of my Samsungs had a power brick, which is annoying.
I currently use Dells almost exclusively, and their range of adjustment is better than any of the Samsungs I've owned or even seen.

Samsung and Acers range of adjustments are horrid, but my LG's has been pretty good and even rotate it right around to portrait if I wanted to.

Bough one of these today for the bedroom. Its not that bad honestly for the money. The sub has a small telescopic aerial on the back which is hilarious. The soundbar gets quite loud and is clear at low to mid volume levels. The sub isnt very punchy and I had to move it from the tv unit to the side of the bed to feel anything. For watching youtube videos, the odd series on netfilx and some sports I'd say its a pleasant upgrade over my TV speakers. Only major gripe is the remote. Its the size of 2 match box's.
 
No specials on the one blade replacement blades...

High quality NiMH batteries can easily last 10-15yrs and there's also the convenience of never running out of batteries, just pop them in the charger.

I did the same, also having bought a lot of Eneloops and a smart charger. Mine are also still going strong.

That's why I started my post with, "For those who need Duracell batteries." in the first place. ;):rolleyes:

Had the opposite experience. Two energizes corroded and started to leak. I now prefer Duracell. Probably related to batches.

Guess what??
NiMH never leak!!!

You can forget them in devices for years and nothing happens other than they gradually go flat.

Save the planet and your sanity and get batteries with lower internal resistance too boot which makes them more powerful than alkaline.
