Did you get the 1st one?

This is flippen amazing man. Just in my TV room I have an Aircon, Projector, Reciever, Bluray player, DVD player, CD Player & Tuner. Remotes everywhere. I tried an Universal remote buts its siht. This would really be ideal, and its cost me less than my Universal Remote.

I just got aircons with wifi built-in. Hooked them up to home assistant and now they go on and off automatically based on temperatures and whether windows/doors are open or closed.

When i got these 2 there was no option of wi-fi. I ordered an extra one now for my home office, a Midea with wifi.

Check your order through the Track feature on the order confirmation email. Seems like they split your order up between different stores. I also got my second item and not the chromecast, but on my tracking page it looks like the chromecast was picked up by a different courier later in the day

Tried that, link has not been working for a few days and have already emailed them about that and still no response, as I expected..

If the order is split, guess I will wait another week for something to hopefully show up..

What are you using to tell if the doors/windows are opened or closed?

Do you have a smart alarm system? Mine is ancient and will need replacing soon.
I have a PI alarm, more than 20 years old. I have roboguard for the outside beams. Both are as dumb as a plank... However, i used an ESP-Home flashed Sonoff SV to monitor the main functions of the alarm and the siren output of the Roboguard. I also added a spare Roboguard remote with 2 relays to activate / deactivate it and to push the panic button.

With this, I can see the state of the alarm and beams and how many times they triggered. I can also remotely activate them.

I also use a D1 Mini to monitor the alarm zones. This also shows how many times each zone has triggered since the system was last armed. (If I long-press the Spare zone, there indicators are reset. If I long-press the Panic zone, a panic signal is sent to the armed response.)

So yeah, it's not necessary to replace an alarm to smarten it. This exercise cost a small fraction of what a new alarm would. The only thing that I have not included, because it is not a factor here, is individual zone bypassing.

snip...

Sounds awesome. Please give more details? I have a couple of ESP's lying around that I could use, but not getting what you did.
