What's causing it?
My completely unsubstantiated opinion

Crypto profitability is down and so is demand from miners, GPU supply is up and looking to continue going up.
Couple that with quite a few gamers are choosing to wait on the side lines for now as the next quarter has Intel launching + AMD predicted to do a RX 6000 refresh with faster memory.

Then we have next gen cards predicted to be launching late this year and the the rumor mills are predicting some pretty big performance jumps so I think some gamers who have waited this long might just skip this gen as it's pretty much over now and go straight to the next gen.

Newegg had the RX 6600 yesterday @ $369.99 , that's $40 more than MSRP
Bestbuy had the RX 6600 XT today @ $429.99 , $50 more than MSRP (No subscription needed)
6700XT has been sitting in stock $599 for almost a week now.
Prices really are on the way down for most regions.

It appears that we are going to enter an oversupply situation soon, locally the Gigabyte stock was ridiculously overpriced compared to XFX + Palit from Wootware and low and behold a few short months later prices are down hard, now cheaper than Wootware in some cases.

I have the model just up from that one and it seems to perform fine. It does get quite warm when passthrough charging though, but it's nothing alarming.

I'm currently running it on my work Dell and I have no qualms.

Also a 1080p panel, but slightly faster refresh rate. Also R1000 cheaper than Evetech/Computer Mania.

The B model. No idea what the difference is. Also very reasonable price.

Amazon selling the Power color 6500 XT at MSRP $199 , been in stock all day.
if you use standard shipping comes to ZAR 3,724.70 that's a decent saving over buying local
With priority shipping its ZAR 3,985.61

I know, not a great card but still, the cheapest card locally is XFX 6500XT from Woot @ R4662(inc shipping)

5600x prices have dropped quite and we have cheaper ryzen 5000 coming soon, 5600 non x or a 5700x would be a great upgrade options.

Techinn is definitely a scam

Based on? They have existed for quite a while, they have a lot of products, they have a lot of sister websites, the checkout flow and shipping options all check out etc etc

The only reason I do not recommend them, is the shipping fees. It is either SAPO or DHL - no thank you. Have obviously never bought from them, so cannot vouch for them.

They are owned by tradeinn, same company https://www.hellopeter.com/tradeinn
Internationally there are reviews where items never arrived and people not getting refunds.
So at best you might receive something after a couple of months and good luck if something goes wrong.

I checked the reviews and None of them mentions DHL. ... that is what you get for using SAPO. The tracking numbers I see are all SAPO ones. If I had to hazard a guess, this is not a Tradeinn issue, but rather a postal/shipping issue. I guess something similar is happening overseas.

Would still not recommend them though.
