Gave TAL a call yesterday to check if the delay on my delivery was as a result of the MikroTik. According to TAL support it was due to another item on the order, so I should be getting my MikroTik within the week.When I placed the order it was for the supplier quoted as MikroTik and the price at R20 below the third-party (i.e. Elite) pricing.
One wonders if MikroTik tried to match the pricing of a parallel (grey) import or similar (e.g. a local supplier closing down), then decided WTF and withdrew their pricing. ?
