The 2022 version will likely be the same price when it releases. I'd give this one a skip.

my only other experience with "wireless" earbuds being a cheap pair of volcanos.

I have to say that these are way better than i imagined. comfort, sound and features are really worth it! ANC and Transparency mode are quite cool. The sound tho... really really nice.

I recommend.

Somehow these 2 do not go together very well. What does ANC mode do? Steal parts of the sound and doesn't deliver the rest of the sound?

ANC blocks out ambient sound - for when you wanna focus (the external mics record the sound and invert it so that you dont hear the drone of a fan, clicking of keyboards etc)

Ambient mode lets them in - for when your annoying collegue comes up and starts chatting, or if you are running /cycling and wanna be aware of ur surroundings

Tap and hold to switch between the 2 modes
