Weird. All of the Rogueware SSDs I’ve bought (30+) have been sealed outside.

It's the little tag thingy on the actual drive that says "do not remove for warranty".
It's not completely broken, just half. I assume the oke who placed it, placed it too hard.
But again, just in case, I'm gonna swap it.

I've used their budget indoor cameras, they work great and one huge plus is they come with free remote 10sec recording of any surveillance triggers which they keep in the cloud for 7 days. That's all I wanted is some kind of camera that will store break-in evidence in the cloud without paying R100+ per month for full cloud recording. They also have basic AI for discerning if an object is a human, so it won't trigger the surveillance from other movement.

Only negative is for some weird reason there's no easy access switch to turn the Surveillance feature on/off, you have to go into the settings each time to change it. That is really my only issue. That and Mao/Xi Jinping is apparently watching your feed/antics from China.

I've used this for a few weeks, it's battery life is decent & setup is easy with the app.

Battery life lasted 2 weeks & the range on the wireless router it requires is not too bad.

I'd say it's only worth it if you're going to have it plugged in full time to a power source, the camera is in proximity to your internet router & the camera router needs be setup next to your internet router with an ethernet connection.

Can anyone recommend some decent 1080p IP cameras & open source DVR software? Looking at fixed and PTZ for outdoor use if anyone has experimented with some

I was considering the Ubiquity range, but stock just doesn't seem to ever be coming.

That's a tad on the expensive side, but I guess it will last quite a long time on 1 charge and if you require POE.

I bought this one: https://www.takealot.com/gizzu-8800mah-mini-ups-dual-dc/PLID71930088 almost two years ago. Still going strong. Lasts me about 6 hours on one charge, no complaints from my side. Also, much cheaper than the one you linked if you want to save a bit of cash :)

Thanks! Wanted this initially but wasn't sure if it would last the full 4+ hours.
