Mia site has the redmi 5A for less than R2k. Son has the redmi 4A and a great phone imho.

I myself using the 4A - its a great phone. 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage more than enough for me. And you can get it for about 1.7k new

Also not sure if he meant to include duties, in my experience with previous orders from GB the final total will be around R3500 incl import tax ect.

Still a great deal I think compared to buying a samsung or other more expensive brand I would think
