iam fast as skeep at midnight.....lol going to be fun to check out the noobs and their 'awesome' buys.......Only thing iam getting on BF is peace and quiet........you cant put a price on that discounted or not

Yeah like they say, "it ain't a bargain if you did not really need it". Lots of people getting brainwashed by all the retailers.

Interestingly enough, capitec sent out a mailer today to warn all their customers about this very thing...

Has anyone seen a Ryzen 5 3600 for less than R3700? That seems to be the normal going rate, was just hoping for a bit better. Every bit helps...

I couldn't find the 3600 on sale as well, contemplating getting the 3600x from Amazon if none of the local stores have any on sale tomorrow

The problem is, there is only single digit performance difference between the 2, while the X uses 105W vs 65W. In the US, there is something like a 40usd difference in price, but here it is almost R2000. I'm not paying that kind of money for so little improvement.

The non-X really does seem like the sweetspot for price v performance.

I agree, but the 3600x is currently on sale for around the same price as the 3600 at the moment
 
GeeWiz has some decent deals. Roku Express for R664, The Huawei E5573 for R596, the Hikvision 64GB flash drive for R103, the Tenda routers etc. Very tempting ...
 
Takealots servers will not crash today like it normally does every black friday coz there are no great deals today, boring
