Here is my bench, think it was a good buy. Went to my local Makro yesterday and although the website said they had stock they havent even received stock yet at that stage. Sales guy let me know they got stock today and kept one for me. Apparently only got 10 in total so was lucky to get one.

Interestingly my 4k tests are slightly higher than Lupus's but obviously was not tested on the same system. Random 4k tests is obviously what matters when you use the drive as a boot drive and this is where nvme drives shine.

My drive was 69% full which does drop the random 4k speeds :(.

My current operating system SSD gets 190MB/s in Crystal Disk, but is it advisable to install OS and games on this new drive?
 
WD acquired SanDisk and the specs on it are the same as the WD Green 1TB so I won't be surprised if the internals are the same:

Correction: I see the SanDisk is 535MB/s whereas the WD is 545MB/s
 
Seems the Makro SSD is out of stock online. When I go to payment it says they have run out of stock.

I've not to be honest, I had an nvme for a short while, testing for a friend and it booted in 4 to 5 seconds, my cheapy WD Green boots in 7 to 8 seconds. I mean the actual real world usability was negligible really.
