Aramex are the pits. If I need something expensive or urgent, I use DHL. For the small stuff I make peace with Aramex as it's a lot cheaper. DHL average a week on Amazon; Aramex around 3 weeks
 
Any specials on printers? Pantum now says toner end of life, on a original one I got from takealot. Can't bypass the msg, the toner is fine as it can print the configuration page but not print jobs I send it lol

Get a Samsung M2020W wireless, or the HP branded version. New toner cartridges are R180 on Takealot and they work flawlessly. It's a very similar size to the Pantum and mine works great, very handy having WiFi and not needing the printer near the PC.

Sounds cheap even generic pantum R500 bucks almost!

I didn't believe myself but there were literally 100s of positive reviews on Takealot for the cartridges and the one I bought has worked perfectly.

I think they are used in a few HP printers, the Samsung version is just a rebranded HP.

It's worth looking for a 2hnd printer going cheap. I bought mine for R200 with near empty toner and just ordered the cartridge off Takealot.

Yeah looming great my Canon used be R200 for generic also, just seems printers are end of line, will try find 2nd hand one

Problem is you can't find these new anymore. That's why I ended up going Pantum too.
(I gotta say it's worked OK. Actual printing works well. Wifi is fairly stable. NFC not so much but it's not that useful anyway).
The Android app is a bit quirky tho.

The Pantum is a good printer but the cartridges seem to be only original or there's no cheap generics. Apparently they can be refilled now but that's still a good R300-400.

Indeed printer is fine, just dont know why mine doing this now. The toner life end.
I am original toner only printed around 400 pages max.

That sucks, those cartridges can do 1200 pages?
Any luck finding a generic Pantum cartridge on Takealot?

Weird that because they are very popular, you'd think by now affordable generics would be all over, are they even available on eBay or AliExpress?

Printers never ship with full toners. Haven't since the 90s. (That said 400 could be right for a "small" toner, depending how u print).
