Ignore the super-high Dynamic Contrast Ratio, it's almost marketing hype. Look for static contrast figures instead.

Static contrast is the actual ratio between the lightest and the darkest colours which a screen can display on a single image. Dynamic contrast refers to the ratio between the lightest and darkest colours over various images, which is more applicable to video, than to the effect on a static image.

Yeah, and it's the dynamic figures that they splash all over the box and emblazon on the monitors themselves.
 
You should see the contrast on an LED TV ... :eek: Its hectic. And the viewing angle is just rediculous.
 
They had a display of these Samsung LED TV's in Menlyn over the weekend. (Not sure if it is still there).

I stood there for 30 minutes just looking at the adverts until my fiancee pulled me away and said we have to leave.
And those TV's are so thin. I still dream about it at night.

Well i've been playing with my 2333sw for a while but his just seems to have more depth and life the darks are so nice mine seem grey compared to his, whereas my old 2232 seemed grey compared to mine.
 
Not to derail but I have a very simple question that doesn't really deserve a thread: What is a WHY? Google for obvious reasons is useless here
 
If anyone knows of a place that actually stocks either original PCI or PCI-E x1 graphics cards, then let me know:)

upgrade bug has just finished biting damnit..
