Actually, I don't think the price is a mistake. There are 5 stickers on it. From last to first: R299.95, R499.95, R999.95, R1199.95, R1599.95

So I guess it is just old stock they are trying to shift.

So what do you think of it? Those function keys look awfully small and too close to the main key area.

Going to swing by Century City tomorrow and have a look if it is available there. Why the heck not... I have a keyboard fetish anyway. :D Several dinovo media sets already and a Enermax Aurora and a Logitech UltraX ... can't go wrong with having more. :D
 
Its amazing the markup IC put on their items. I bought a steering wheel from them as a xmas gift, box was marked R1399, got it for R849 because the box was opened and a little damaged.

I thought I got a good deal until I saw the exact same wheel @ Musica unopened for R399. Makes you wonder.
 
They used to sell the Logitech dinovo bluetooth desktop media set for R2,999. This used to go for R1,200 ex VAT from the suppliers. A little nuts, really.

I've got one of those - the flat soft touch keys are better than some laptop keyboards :twisted:.
 
Pretty that way with most of Logitech (and others) full keyboards with "laptop" keys. Same action, just slightly longer travel which makes all the difference.

Damn, I forgot to pop in at Incredible Connection today. :P Will try again tomorrow.
 
Got me one of those dinovos. :) R299 from Incredible Connection in Bayside Centre, Tableview. Only found it when I went back there to ask them to check with the Century City store as the one guy said they had none left. It was stuck behind the other keyboards, happened to be opened already. :P So sorry to the guy who left to go fetch money from the ATM. :D

It feels a bit odd though. Like my hands are not resting in the right spot. I'm used to the much broader dinovo. :P

Which one? dinovo is a name assigned to several of their keyboards. My original dinovos set me back R1.5K-R2K a set. This "dinovo for notebooks" was just R299. There's another dinovo wireless set which is the same as the dinovo laser but not bluetooth that should be around that price you mentioned.

Ah ok, I didn't know there were different models. The one they had was for Mac which is why I wanted it.
 
Ah yes, you see with the Mac it means everyone can charge just a little bit more ... even if the product isn't made by Mac. :D

lol true true. O well. I got them to double check the price and it was reduced to R999, still a bit steep, although what a sweet KB. :p

DO NOT get this from Kalahari.net, I placed an order, they asked for money, I paid them and then they said to me your order is cancelled because we don't have stock.
IMO its probably just a publicity thing...
I did end up getting my monitor from PCDirect and my money back from Kalahari.net though
