Not going to start a debate, will just mention it when there is misinformation being spread. No intentions of derailing, people should just know the truth, regardless.

I agree. Most people wouldn't have known anything about what you explained, and you did it quite concisely. It's good info.
(heck, I only new that stuff cos I read a review of the very first local-dimming LED backlit TV (that Philips), so when the edge-lit stuff started appearing I was like, "Hang on, how can u do local dimming with your light source around the edges?")

With some simple optics, it is very easy... I don't know if anyone is actually doing it.

+1 Phoned esquire Durban last week, the guy at sales was adamant that all mybb accounts were closed as of January 2011. Getting tired of going through this with esquire now.

He is referring to the 'general MyBB' accounts.

I used the opportunity to obtain my personal account and I've used it extensively; last time was on Thursday.

Correct, members can still open their own accounts, no one is questioning that. ;)
 
I currently have a hybrid in my macbook so i can wait for the prices to drop... Don't think 128 is enough, need 256 at least and that is 5000 bucks. Serious money that for an HDD.
