I will never buy a flash drive again if they don't show the read/write speed of it. All these specials are normally as slow as Andes donkeys on diet.
Why is it so difficult to find specs of flash drives and why do sales people don't know either?
If you stick to the recognised brands like Transcend, Kingston and the like, you should be fine...
How can there be speed differances among brands?
Isn't USB2.0 like one universal speed?

downloading is about 2.5MB/sec.
OoookayThe speed is limited by the stick itself, not by the USB bus. The cheaper cards are generally a lot slower than the more expensive ones, which can be a hassle.
