Same laptop as the Game deal but with the carrybag for R500 more...... if you can't find stock of the GAME deal, go for this one....

As mentioned above, I bought the GAME deal and am very happy.

Pretty sure the game one had a 2310m processor, the 2328m is slightly newer and has a slightly higher clock but they offer around the same performance really. Game's sold was completely sold out in the Western Cape by Saturday lunch time

GAME advertised the 2310 in their leaflets..... but when the guy gave me the box, the processor was listed as the 2328m on the side....
 
For those of you who missed out on the Acer laptop special from Game: they will have an HP with the same Spec on special for R3999 from Wednesday with a 3yr on-site warranty included.

Personally, I am glad I got the Acer as my disaster ownership experience with a Pavillion DV6000 has turned me off HP notebooks for life. At least this one will last a minimum of 3yrs!

Why? Ive been using a HP dv6000 almost every day for the past 5 years and it still looks new.
 
Hmmm 3tb usb 3 , very tempting, I would assume you need to plug this into the wall socket as well, it being a 3.5" drive?
 
I bought one of those Verbatim 3TB guys for R1100 from DionWired a couple of weeks back. Really good prices they're going for at the moment!
