I have the same problem, and realised its because they closed my account for some reason or the other.
You probably got the same issue.

Update: Seems to have been an error on their site. Changed back to normal pricing.

Unless it's an error on their online store shows it looks like the prices on the Kobo touch at R799 and the Mini at R500 are now permanent. It doesn't show an expiry date for the special although it's still limited to certain colours.
