Tip: Go to Game, check that they have this same monitor in stock. Only once you've confirmed that they do have stock, show them the Makro ad. They'll have to beat that price by 10%.

Works like a charm, but Game have smarted up, when Makro offers these types of goods on special, Game usually doesn't have stock...

They don't like competing against themselves of course. Both stores belong to the Massmart portfolio.

Walked into Incredible Connection in Rosebank (killing time while the wife was shopping) and almost fell over when I saw the Logitech DiNovo keyboard for Notebooks going for R299.95. My daughter has been begging me for one. There were 5 left when I bought. It has to be a mistake. I don't know if this has been repeated in other stores. These normally retail around from R1000 and upwards. Maybe it was meant to be R1299.95

The DiNovo keyboard for notebooks is back at around R599 again at Incredible. Still not bad for a keyboard that was approx 1k not so long ago.
 
That's a shockingly good price for the dinovo.
Still listed as just short of R1K on price lists from earlier this month.

I bought it this afternoon. I felt like a criminal leaving the shop with it.

Actually, I don't think the price is a mistake. There are 5 stickers on it. From last to first: R299.95, R499.95, R999.95, R1199.95, R1599.95

So I guess it is just old stock they are trying to shift.

Dos any1 know until when visiontech have their special on??? because im planning to sell my psp with quite a few games and my nintendo wii with quite a few games too, to upgrade my pc...
