Nice. I've not seen this before.

Some quick questions before I buy it.

Do you fasten the laptop to the stand or is it only resting on the stand? eg. Will it fall off easily?
How big is the stand? Will I be able to strap it onto a laptop bag? Or even fit it inside?

Bought one a couple months back when on special at Hifi Corp.

The stand is attached to the keyboard (unlike the Alto Cordless, which has them separately).

The notebook either rests flush on the provided stand, or with the front side on the rubber hinge and the rear side on the stand. Both work great, if you ask me. It can be a problem, however, if you have ports that you need to use on the front of the notebook.

The rubber hinge is soft, so you don't have to worry about it damaging your notebook at all.

There's a built-in USB hub, which works quite nicely. There are also some LED-lit indicators that light up, for Caps Lock, Num Lock, USB peripheral presence, etc.

No I doubt if you’ll be able to fit it into a normal laptop bag. Or at least it doesn’t fit into my bag.

Looks like about 5 other people at the office will be buying as well. Damn, should have asked Kalahari for commission! :)
 
Yup ... seems like the special is gone ... damn I wish we could get that in this country ... it was $1500, for a 52" Full HD LED :( Just not fair.
 
You get those prices on LED TV's often in the USA. Just check amazon.

Dont forget to factor in VAT and shipping.

Also, I've imported some TV's from the USA, they dont seem to work with DSTV - HDCP errors.
