Anybody know if Game actually has stock of them?

I spoke to Sandton, and they know nothing of this special....

Just spoke to one here - the special only starts tomorrow apparently, and they don't even know the model because they haven't received any info on it yet :)

What would you rather have: The P2450H or B2430H

The P series by far. It's designed for gaming. Also the P series doesn't have that power saving stuff's that degrades the true depth of the colours.

I have the pamphlet with me and it looks very much like the P2450. The model number is there but it's super faint.

The advert states 2 minutes response time:D

if it's the P2450 that will be awesome! I was looking to get it from Kalahari, on special right now for R1,799! This is even better!

Cool shot, think I will sell my B2430H's then and get 3 of these puppies.

Edit: I actually never realised the B in the B2430H stood for Business

Definitely hope those are the P24's so I can get rid of these business monitors :p

I suppose the P stands for Personal/Professional/Premium? :)

24" Samsung LCDs, 1920x1200, 70000:1 contrast, 2ms response time (ad on their website says 2 minutes lol).... R1499 @game. Go go go!

Only from tomorrow ... and their printed advert also states 2 minutes lol. No thank you

It looks like it's the Samsung 2494HS. That is the only 24" Samsung monitor that they have on their website and that goes for R1,499.00

Hmm, still a great price, but not as attractive anymore. The 2494HS is bulkier, heavier, has less screen real-estate (physical size) and only has 5ms refresh. Guessing they're getting rid of old stock.

I'm so so so disappointed it not the 2450. I went to Menlyn this morning on my way to work and they were not open yet. Why do shops open at 09H00? :)

I was about to go back there and now this. Eish. I'll go still just to make sure. It's a 10 min drive anyway.:p

Is anyone here using a 2494HS for Design purposes?
I'm basically looking for a decent monitor to check colour for web design, as my old macbook screen has become dull and lifeless.
So just wondering if the colours are accurate. or if I i should be looking at something else?

Yip it is true, was at game first thing this morning, besides not actually having any, it turns out it is the 2494HS, 5ms opposed to 2 and 50 0000:1 contrast apposed to 70 000:1 as stated in the add  Will stick with my B2430H's. Might just another one of these.

Bit disappointing.
