Looking to buy two memory sticks (19 mb/sec would be nice) as well as a printer cartridge. Any suggestions on best places to look?

CNA. I just want suggestions on shops not a detailed price list. I'll do the digging and comparisons. I apologize for not making it clear in my original question.

Martin, check out IC, I know they have some specials running at the moment, you may find something decent.

Agreed on that note, but I picked up a Seagate 3.5" 500GB external HDD there last week for R499.

:erm:Yeah I avoid IC like the plague, but strangely enough they sometimes do have decent specials.
If anyone else is interested the 2TB external drive at Makro seems to be a Toshiba Stor.e Alu 2 3.5" http://www.toshiba-multimedia.com/uk/store-external-hard-drives/alu-2-35/

Is it confirmed that the Toshiba has a Seagate internal (albeit the "green" drive")
Is that a good or bad thing?

Depends what you are after
Seagate = good, Green drive = not for me thanks
I want a drive spinning at 7200RPM or higher, not taking breaks when it wants to etc
Cannot beat the price though

Though with USB as the bottleneck, there is no reason not to have a Green drive...
Or does it have eSATA?

No eSata port
Transfer speed is not a problem, i just don't like hearing a drive spin up when i copy something to it.
Again this 2TB would suit probably 80% of the users out there, and at that price its a real bargain.
