Did you see the "Guys I was thinking of getting a 42" LCD TV"?

I don't even think it's a bargain. I watch TV prices closely and 40" LCDs usually go for R5,999, and the LED-LCDs (which offer no improvement in picture quality) are usually exactly R1,000 more. So it seems like a normal price to me.

Most people are uninformed and do not know that entry level LCD TV's are crap for TV and sport. 100Hz minimum is required, which would been another few thousand R's. The poster's purposes for the TV were not mentioned, so I thought I'd provide valuable advice that might help them and even others before deciding on a TV.

I have a Samsung mono, the cheapest one, and it's served me well for a few years. Still got a few prints left, think the stock toner came with 600. Some people prefer HP though as they say Samsung's "toner level" works in accordance to amount of prints, and not according to actual physical toner levels remaining. Something like that. HP's are a lot more though, I'd go with Samsung!

If ANYONE spots an special on SSD drives - PM me before they sell out - I wanna do a RAID SSD setup.

Hifi corp got the seagate 2tb external for r899. Seems like a gud deal! I recently got the 1tb toshiba for r499 from makro. Not bad at all!
