Just nobody ever even try to buy something from www.cybergeex.co.za. Ordered goods 2 months ago and after several stories and excuses, he never delivered. I now have to resort to legal action to get my money back...

No offence..... but with a site like that, I wouldn't have touched them with a bargepole.

I have a few AOC monitors and am very happy with them, their new models will be available in SA later this month and the pricing looks very good for the 27" LED(MVA panel not TN) and the 23" IPS

AOC 27" LED E2795VH from around R2,462 at sybaritic

Their 23" IPS monitor - i2353Ph R1478 from Sybaritic It's also 9.2mm thin, and prrrretty! Haha the way it mounts is a bit weird though!

I'll be buying the 23" IPS me thinks...

23 inch is very nice, IPS screen. Good find, please let us know when they have stock as I probably will get this one as well.

Yeah very interesting. Probably LG panels, and we know LG have brought out cheap IPS LCDs.

Would love Samsung to bring S-PVA screens to the market, better than IPS for the most part. ;)

Oh, I did some digging on the AOC website and this model is using E-IPS panel. I think it's the cost down/improved version of the traditional IPS?

Enhanced IPS E-IPS 2009 Wider aperture for light transmission, enabling the use of lower-power, cheaper backlights. Improves diagonal viewing angle and further reduce response time to 5ms.

Hi

I have 3 x P4 boxes to give away. Motherboards, RAM, and harddrives all funtional. You can strip some of the parts from these boxes and put together a decent P4 machine for your kids or small office, just for homework or to surf the net.

Will also throw in CD/W optical drives, a colour TFT screen, keyboards/mice and an HP 4 in 1 printer that prob just needs some new cartridges or some TLC.

No charge for any of the above.

Need to clear space in my study cos my wife's shooting "dagger" looks at me.

If anyone is interested, PM me or reply to the thread. Pick up in Jhb (Rosebank, Killarney, Melrose Arch) or Bryanston.

Please rather donate it to people who are really in need. :)

Yup E-IPS is the newer tech that makes it possible to produce the IPS panels in a simlar manner that TN panels are produced, making it much cheaper. The dell 23 u2311h and LG IPS226V also use e-IPS panels as well as the HP LP2475w.
The LG's were going for R1600 when they first came out but quickly went up R400-R600

Perhaps combined with the 30% PC LCD tax. :/
Yeah was gonna mention that but couldn't remember if it was before or after that... Wasn't it only 7%? Still think it's utterly ridiculous!

Although the AOC is still great value if it is available at those prices (+-1500)

Sybaritic's website now says October 4th and Nivo have just removed the date.
