I think still another 6 months +. Even with the factory running again. They gonna have to full fill all the back orders. So demand still gonna be quite high.

Got my Verbatin usb3.0 2 Tb drive today at Makro for R899. Not bad I think? It was marked higher. I asked the sales guy if he can give it for the price in the xmas catalog. He told me it's not the same drive, as stated earlier in this thread. So I went to the inquiries counter, and asked for the multimedia manager, and he gave it for R899. Must say I was impressed.
 
Anyone know where in CT I can get an AUX to AUX cable to plug my phone/iPod into my car's AUX-in port?

Try HiFi Corporation or any other PC (eg. Incredible Connection/Dion Wired)/audio shop for that matter.
Otherwise go to Yebo Electronics and buy the components to make it yourself, but then you'll need a soldering iron.

Don't get this one, it's not very durable as you'll be plugging it in and out quite often and it's not very durable. The wire/contacts came loose after a couple of weeks. Instead look for one at Zakspeed costing about R30 which is more rubbery/soft plastic (for lack of a better explanation). I took a knife to it and trimmed the plastic a bit so it fits into my phone's case with no problem.

I had already bought one from Hi-Fi Corp because ZakSpeed was closed when I went there to try and get the one that was first posted...
 
Hi everyone,

Anyone seen or heard of 2 TB going around R899 like makro had earlier. Would like to gift it to my cousin before she leaves to go home. This would beat copying 20 DVDs of anime.
