Damn good price if I am not mistaken?
You're not! The OCZ prices have come down recently but it's still R200 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else retail!
Really tempted! Slow windows is driving me mad.
Do it ! You can believe the hype about SSD, it really is that good.
(Bought an agility 3 two weeks for R2100)
Unlucky
Only thing is I see * 3.5" Adapter Bracket not included. Problem?
Not really, also bought a R25 adapter when I ordered from takealot. Wootware probably also stock this.
I've also read some guys solve this with some double-sided tape![]()
I just went without a 2.5" to 3.5" bracket for my 30GB OCZ SSD and simply screwed it to the case on 1 side. It works perfectly well, because SSD's are light and they don't vibrate either.
Doesn't sound like such a bad idea.
This is pretty much what one would need though? http://www.wootware.co.za/2-5-to-3-5-mounting-bracket.html
yip. Similar to what I got: http://www.takealot.com/electronics/ssd-drive-mounting-bracket-2-5inch-to-3-5-inch,10814406
Cool, I have my finger on the trigger
Edit: Boom! Ordered. Hope it is as awesome as everyone says.
That isn't such a good deal. The only good things about it is its operating system and probably its warranty too.
Grootbas for around R4500 I'd say look at something with a 2310m
Yeah that 390m you got from Dion wired was a steal!*That isn't such a good deal. The only good things about it is its operating system and probably its warranty too.
I got a better spec'd (i3 390M, 2GB RAM, Win7 Home Basic 32-bit, 1yr warranty) laptop for R3000 from DionWired when it was on a special.
Cool, should be a nice upgrade! Just make sure the firmware is updated to the latest, which I think is v2.15, before you re-installCool, I have my finger on the trigger
