Looks alright - but Normal Price R 1,230 is quite high... They are enterprise-grade drives, so they should last you a few years! They are not really designed for desktop use, but should work fine. Wait for another person's feedback though, I'm no hard drive expert.

Good price, but it's an SAS drive, so you cannot just plug it into a regular SATA port. It's meant for servers, etc.
Unless you have a server or familiar with SAS drives, I would avoid it.

Yes, was about to say that as well, this is meant for servers and the like, and not normal consumer laptops.

Daily Deals are there to grab the attention of compulsive buyers without doing their homework first. It's agreement with the supply - If stock doesn't move they repeat the advert one last time and send goods back to the supplier. Rosmoss power banks if I remember they had like 300 on hand.

I dunno...pretty big jump from 215 bucks to R17k.
I think Romoss should consider releasing a Romoss 2.5 (and possibly 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 etc.).

From what I can read on the product pages, the Sailing uses a Samsung cell while the Solo does not mention the cell used.
The cell would be the major cost factor. I'm sure the Samsung cell in the Sailing will be better quality and last much longer than the unnamed cell in the Solo.
I bought a Sailing 3 7800mah on the DD a couple weeks back. Was just under R300. I'm very happy with it and would recommend. Charges up my S4 in about the same time the charger would and seems to always have charge left.

Purchased the Romoss Sailing 2 on Todays daily deal and applied a R50 voucher.. last month bought the sailing 6 for myself, unfortunately my mom has taken it. Once I see her again will trade her with Sailing 2 for 6.

I assume it's HUGE though. Would make it less portable. I find the Sailing 3 quite large. I have to keep mine in my pencil case as I don't have place in my pockets usually.
