Helluva deal there takealot

Well there are some good in-ears but if you want high calibre ones or Bluetooth you're looking over 2k. I dunno I think the P3s were still a pretty good choice for the price; they should be lightweight enough to run and still give a better sound stage than in-ears.

Well yeah just as I say - for ~r1800 I can't find any better deal. The 558s are like r4k.

Thanks! I ended up going with the B & Ws though and quite happy - they are basically what I hoped, a middle ground where I can use them in the daytime in the office and use them to watch stuff in the evening on the iPad and take them out on the bike/running. I guess they do slip a bit when running but they're quite grippy and I'm happy.

Cool, cool.

Sidebar - I'm not a fan of audio equipment makers who advertise [brand name] reference sound. Who are you to establish your own standard, [brand name]?

Talking about TAKEALOT. I was about to buy a 1TB Toshiba HDD for a laptop and had it in my basket. It was R839.

Suddenly it becomes out of stock and then in a few hours it was R230 more.

Way to go.

Yeah - I was only buying it cos I noticed it was the same price as 18 months ago when I bought the same one.

I was going through previous orders looking for items they missed on increases.

Scored a laptop bag that went up 10min after I ordered hehe. Just missed out in the HDD.
