I'd love to replace my current 23" LED but I cannot justify paying R17k just because I have a few dead pixels:o

Although if someone would like to sponsor me, please raise your hand

Any SSD specials? Looking for a decent 500gig please.

You not going to find any decent deals on SSD’ s or Flash memory as there was 3 price increases since November last year

Some items went up by almost 40%

The stock we selling are the ones we brought in December 2016 as we substantially increased our quantities

The current buy price from our suppliers for both SDD and Flash even with the slightly better Rand/ Dollar is more than what we are currently selling at

Have look at this specials on SSD

Folks, don't forget to add a "difficulty" premium when buying from Esquire.

I had a monitor that was falling apart after 3 months and they had it in repairs\warranty for 2 months trying to get a refund from the supplier. After eventually getting it cleared I waited 45 minutes to collect my new one (upgraded, as old one still not available).

Even after I had already paid in the difference, and had the proof of payment accepted by Sales, when I got there I had to go from the cashier to Sales and ask Sales to re-print (goodbye trees....) the proof again so that the cashier could staple it to their copy of the invoice. The cashier had already spent 30 minutes "verifying" my payment before this. And it still took another 25 minutes to get the new monitor from the shelf at the back to the counter.

Esquire is not worth the perceived savings. Even if Takealot is 20% more expensive I will rather order from them than go through the hassles at Esquire. Takealot even collect your faulty items directly from you for free.

YMMV...

Have to agree with Rob there.
Bought many items from Esquire, but you need to allow plenty time for collection of your goods and when using their after sales service. Every time I have to use their after sales service, I swear to never buy from them again.

Can agree 100% with this and the previous post. After sales is terrible with these guys.

Agree. We had an LG monitor arrive many green lines across the screen and obviously useless. It took Esquire 2 weeks to collect and then another 5 weeks to replace the monitor. Since then we have moved our full companies IT procurement to Pinnacle. They offer free delivery on orders over R1500 and having a dedicated account manager makes life super easy.

I find it funny how these suppliers always scream about increased prices when the Rand is stronger. I expect a few SSD specials to arrive in the coming months.

Anyone know of a good quality 27" IPS monitor for graphic designers? Under R10000. The trick is it needs to be 100% sRGB and DisplayPort 1.2.
