Picked up the nascar racing chair from makro yesterday.

Pretty good for R1299 i reckon. Really nice lumbar support.

I had a R500 gift voucher so that did make the decision to get it easier.

Give it a few months until the cushioning is completely flattened and all the fasteners start coming loose.

These Game/Makro chairs are not worth it imo.

I had both Game and Makro chairs. They are not the same. The Game ones actually had the metal pieces holding the seat break. The Makro ones are much better and more comfortable. The only issue I've had with the Marko chair is the faux leather wearing out on the arm rests. The cushioning has flattened after 6 years but not an extent where it feels like concrete.

That's why I park my car by the canister section outside and let them haul it into the car.
