Gosh it’s a CSS error on the page clearly the OP found a solution I presume when he responded with the price for everyone.

For some reason the price doesn't display correctly on Chrome on Android. Tried in landscape mode too - no dice.

R2199.00 for those who have the same issue

Just *insert tech advice here*

Oh wait :D

A friend of mine is willing to sell me his old PC, however he does not know how much the value would be so could someone please help me out and value this set up?

i7 3700 (3.6 GHz, 3.9GHz (I've seen it go to like 4.3GHz though)
Asus GTX 660
120GB CorsairSATA SSD
1TB 7200RPM WD Black HDD
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
650W TX650M Corsair PSU
Coolermaster HAFX Case
oh and there is a wifi/bluetooth card inside too which is a nice bonus.

I would reckon about R6 500?

To be honest, I would say R4000 max.

I'd agree with SYNERGY. R3700 - R4200 is the range he should expect.

The CPU is 5 generations old [also a non-k variant which cannot be overclocked], the GPU is also from quite a few years back [600 series launched in 2012] and 120GB SSD's are quite cheap these days. The HDD is pretty entry level being a 1TB drive. 8GB of RAM is also pushing the limits of certain games that have been released in 2017 and later.

Looks like your "friend" is taking a chance on a noob, better hope that it also includes a Windows 10 license.

I'd watch the Mybb classifieds and Carbonite, some good deals come up.

I forgot to mention that the mobo and PSU are pretty much new, he bought them both last year December so I'd say that would justify a higher price? Also yes Win10 was included

edit*
The Mobo is a Gigabyte z77x-ud3h, which is one of the higher end models if I'm not mistaken.

Unlikely that board is anywhere near the age he says it is.

That board was released in 2012, same as the CPU. No chance he bought it new 6 months ago. It's a mid range board as well.

Up to to you if you still want it :)

On the contrary, I've got a G61 and Z63 board still running daily without any hiccups since 2012.
