Any decent Internal hard drive specials anywhere? Internal, not the External that I see most places have.

Looking for 2 or 3tb.

Sometimes its cheaper to buy an external and remove the case.

Won't always work. A lot of Samsung and WD drives don't have Sata connectors

I don't know the mentioned one, but have bought a single rechargeable lamp of of this type from Midas for R239, which is a special until end March iirc.

It's not as luminous as a Cadac 100 gas lamp but good enough as standby lighting.


Also available from iWarehouse in Somerset West for a few cents less

Managed to extract the hdd from the casing and it's got a standard 2tb sata hdd.

Seagate Backup 2tb 3.5" from DW for R1000.

I bought 2 x rechargeable lanterns (Energizer brand) and use them during load-shedding. They give out plenty of light.
