Good luck, even at the distributors prices are up 20% over the last 6 months.

I can guarantee you that if I ordered it for and add 15% for my time you will likely pay more than what most online stores charge. How do you know the ones who quoted you are making a killing?

It will be cheaper to buy online from the likes of takealot, raru, rebeltech, wootware.

The rand has taken a dive and prices have gone up a lot.

Agreed, when I see my latest supplier's pricelists, their pricing is terrible at the moment.
Esquire et al do however have specials which can be good though, just have to look around and monitor...

Jip. Had to show TV license for the last order of 4 x 42" TV's I ordered from them for the school.
 
I think even the stores need a TV licence to have them in store. Think it is a sellers licence. Otherwise they would not be allowed to display them in store.
 
What happened to the Esquire response regarding how the prices have increased? It was quite informative and now I am looking for it again.

I agree, actually wanted to show it to a bean counter because they have trouble understanding how something can go up by more than 15%. They just been difficult though because if they do the sums they will realize it.
